On the afternoon of Saturday, 22 Azar 1404 (December 13, 2025), the Manzumeh literary gathering, themed around Tehran, was held at Baghe Ketab Tehran, hosted by Amirali Soleimani and attended by a group of poets.

At the beginning of the program, Amirali Soleimani recited a poem by Akhavan Sales about Tehran. He then spoke about the presence of Tehran in poetry, noting that the city has generally appeared in poems through various pretexts—political or emotional—and has less often been addressed as an independent subject.

Following this, Alireza Badiei recited a ghazal in which Tehran was mentioned indirectly. Soleimani then referred to Mohammad-Ali Sepanlou, known as the poet of Tehran, saying that he made the most extensive use of Tehran’s elements in his poetry. Boating in Tehran is one of Sepanlou’s poetry collections.

Next, Hossein Jannat-Makan read a poem centered on Tehran. Omid Sabbagh-Nejad was another poet who recited a poem about the city. In another part of the program, Sajad Samani read two ghazals.
Gholamreza Tariqi, another poet, discussed the theme of Tehran in literary works, noting that addressing Tehran in poetry and fiction is not particularly prominent. He added that places in Tehran carry meaning, and then recited a song for the audience.
Afterward, Omid Rouzbeh read a song about Meydan-e Khorasan along with several romantic songs. Saeed Mobasher recited a poem about Tehran during the 12-day war. Ali Ilya then mentioned Alireza Azar and read a poem about Tehran. Sedra Kaveh also read a poem related to war.
Saeed Biabanki followed with a satirical poem about an earthquake in Tehran. Seyed Taghi Seyyedi, Saleh Dorvand, Alireza Nourali Pour, Alireza Elyasi, Fatemeh Ali-Mohammadi, Alireza Dadgar, and Omid Mahdi-Nejad were among the other poets who read poems on the theme of Tehran.
